February of 1999 - the first performance took place in the hall of St-Petersburg State Academic Chapel.
December of 1999 - the 1st prize "Muses of Petersburg".
March of 2001 - the 1st prize at the All-Russian Competition of folk instrument players (Tver).
September of 2001 - the 1st CD album "A Midsummer Nights Dream".
November of 2001 - the 1st prize at the II Open Competition of Variety Artists which takes place in St-Petersburg.
June of 2002 - the CD album "Good Old Songs"
July of 2002 - the Expromt took part in Valery Gergiev's Saimaa Music Fest.(Finland).
January of 2002 - concerts in Germany.
March of 2003 - The release of "live" CD "Live in St. Petersburg" recorded on November, 22, 2002.
October—November of 2003 - Tour de France.
October, 25, 2003. - the concert within the bounds of the October Festival of conservatory's Rouen, France).
September—October of 2004 - concerts in Scotland.
July of 2005 - concerts in Italy.
August—November of 2005 - The CD album "Petr Migunov and the Expromt Quintet".
September of 2005. - concerts in Denmark with support of "Danish Culture Institute". |
The Expromt quintet appeared in 1999 in Saint Petersburg when Conservatoire students, winners of different musical contests, decided to start a group. During its existence the ensemble
The unique style of Expromt bases on their creative approach to the work with musical pieces. All the arrangements are made by the participants of the quintet. The way they perform reflects their own attitude to music. Their manner of performing music is notable for expression, bright emotionality,sincerity of feelings.
